Born and raised in a family of entrepreneurs active in the field of alcoholic beverages (Vecchia Romagna Buton, Petrus, Batida), fruit juices (Derby), health foods (Valsoia), real estate, finance (first listed company in Emilia Romagna), golf (development of the first golf in Emilia Romagna), perfumes and fashion (Schiaparelli-Paris).

Master in Business Administration at INSEAD after a degree in Political Science with a specialization in macroeconomics. He has three children.

He economically developed the first Luxury Gallery in Bologna (Galleria Cavour, with Louis Vitton, Gucci, Armani, Cartier, Prada, Miu Miu, Tiffany, Moncler, etc.) making it the leader in Italy in its sector. He has renovated ancient palaces (Palazzo Angelelli transformed into the Administrative Court of Emilia), redeveloped buildings from the war period (renovated an orphanage which was transformed into Villa Dotti, the most valuable new property in Bologna at the time).

He founded Beni Reali spa, transferring the company to Milan.

Federico was one of the founders of Civicum, the first Association in Italy devoted to developing collaborations between citizens and institutions in order to improve the state, of which he is now Honorary President. Civicum has collaborated with the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Ministry of Education, the State General Accounting Office, all the municipalities in the regional capital. The following have collaborated with Civicum among many others: Bocconi, Poilitecnico di Milano, Università Cattolica, Mediobanca Research Office, all the major auditing firms, BCG, AT Kerney.

Forty years of experience in real estate in Milan and the rest of Italy.
He was involved in the major transactions for the purchase and sale of residential income properties from insurance companies and banks.
He began his real estate business in 1980 at I.P.I., owned by Toro Assicurazioni at the time.
In 1984 he became sales manager of Gifim - Real Estate Company of Sopaf Group.
In 1996 he became partner and CEO of Beni Reali where he mainly follows the commercial aspect of the projects that are developed.
He is married and has two children.
